I started a new hobby. Accidentally. I went deep into #HomeAssistant the last 3 weeks. Really amazing stuff. The way you can set up automations is remarkable.
On the funny side: I now have a "debug" dashboard to debug my apartment 😅.

Covid lock down made go into this rabbit hole.
What I learned is make sure that your stuff works when home assistant is not working.
Buy in decent appliances and make sure it's an enrichment and not a burden.
